Red Prince, Sausage & Caramelized Onion Pizza
Sausage, caramelized onion and Red Prince apples are the perfect combination of flavours to
elevate your standard slice.
Ingredients:
1 store-bought pizza base
⅔ cup tomato-based pizza sauce
2 ½ cups shredded cheese (We used a 4-cheese blend)
½ cup caramelized onion
2 cooked sausages, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 Red Prince apple, cored and diced
Instructions:
Makes 2 – 4 servings
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Spread the pizza sauce over the crust.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over the sauce.
Evenly spread caramelized onion and sausage.
Top with diced Red Prince apples.
Bake for 8-12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
