Stuffed Chicken breast with Red Prince® Apples

Serves 4


4 Nutrafarms Chicken breasts

2 Red Prince® apples, cut into ¼ inch slices

4 generous slices of Bothwell aged cheddar

12 slices of bacon (3 per breast)



Preheat oven to 350°F.

Make an incision in the thick end of the chicken breast. Insert apple slices and cheddar in the chicken.

Wrap bacon around chicken breast so as much is covered as possible. If desired, keep it together using wooden toothpicks.

Place chicken on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake in pre-heated oven for 25 minutes or until internal temperature is 180 degrees.

Let rest for 3 to 5 minutes before slicing.
